? What to Expect in a Session
Sessions are typically 60–75 minutes. We begin with a full-body craniosacral assessment and light touch therapy. When ready, I move gently into intraoral work using gloved hands—always with care, consent, and ongoing communication.
Many clients feel a sense of space, relief, and even emotional release as jaw tension unwinds. This therapy is not forceful—it’s intuitive, gentle, and grounded in the body’s wisdom.
? Why This Work Matters
The jaw often holds more than physical tension. It can store trauma, stress, or unspoken emotion from years past. Intraoral CST offers a path to meet these layers with compassion and calm.
This isn’t about fixing—it’s about supporting your body’s natural ability to realign and release.

FAQ Intraoral Craniosacral Sessions
What is Intraoral Craniosacral Therapy?
Intraoral Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that works inside the mouth (using gloves) to release tension in the jaw, mouth, and surrounding cranial bones. This work helps to unwind deep restrictions affecting the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), facial structures, and upper neck — areas that are often difficult to access externally.
Why would someone need intraoral work?
This therapy can be especially helpful for people with TMJ dysfunction, head or neck injuries, dental trauma, clenching or grinding, ost-orthodontic tension, or chronic headaches. Intraoral work supports the nervous systema and can help release patterns held deep within the granial and oral structures that may be contributing to pain or impalance.
Is intraoral craniosacral therapy painful?
No, the work is very gentle and done with full respect for your comfort. However, if there is some pain that exists, we would stay with the soft pain and not aggrivate the tissues. I always check in and use a light touch to work with, not against the body’s natural rhythms. Many clients find the experience surprisingly relaxing, even when working with tender areas.
What should I expect during an intraoral session?
After discussing your concerns and receiving your informed consdnt, I’ll use gloved hands to gently work inside your mouth. The rest of the session may include external craniosacral work to help your body to integrate the changes. You’ll remain fully clothes and relaxed on the table throughout the session.
