The intention for this business is to build a holistic therapeutic retreat for people who are consciously wanting to improve their quality of life.

Every moment of our lives, on some level of our consciousness, we are making decisions. This could begin with the movement of one cell towards another, a sigh of relief, a deep feeling of joy, a decision to change jobs, or even a movement into the spiritual realms of life. It all begins with each individual and what he/she wants to create in life.  This sense of self-responsibility is very empowering.  When one realizes that somewhere within their being that they are participating in their growth and healing, the inner resources may be more deeply trusted to move us into the unitive state of health and wellbeing.

The foundation of the work is based on the work of Dr. John Upledger, DO, who taught his many students to work with the inner intelligence of each person in the reach for quality life.  While the retreat will include many modalities of healing:  Structural Integration, Hakomi, Reiki, Massage, Aromatherapy, Equine Therapy, Water Therapy, Yoga, Byron Katie’s “The Work”, Barbara Brennan’s Healing Science,  Acupuncture, Chiropractor, Counseling and more,  the focus will always return to the Conscious Empowerment of each individual to Self-discover and find the richness in each moment of life.  The theme of Dr. Upeldger’s Craniosacral Therapy will always be present as it brings us back to monitoring and supporting the movement within Cranosacral System.

This ideas of creating a retreat has been deep in my heart for a long time.  My husband and I have bought a farm in Johnstown, Ohio (right outside of Columbus, Ohio) that we have named “Sweet Honey Farms” where we plan to plant the seeds to this new therapeutic Center.  It is located on 36 acres of beautiful land with horses, a pool, a stream that runs through the land and the idea of building a Sanctuary for Healing work.  We hope to connect with the community there and are exciting to get many people participating in a community effort.  The most precious part of life is our interconnection and how people come together to create beautiful and wondrous things.

If you have a similar interest, please feel free to write here.  This an invitation hoping to entice those who want to come together for the common good of all people from all cultures and religions to build compassionate, peaceful and joyful lives.

Warmly,

Sharon Hartnett
