How To Find Joy by Choosing the Higher Self

How To Find Joy by Choosing the Higher Self

Higher Self

What is the Higher Self?

One could describe the higher self as the deeper, timeless essence of who you are — a part of you that exists beyond the layers of ego, personality, and conditioned thought. It’s like the true center of your being, always in harmony with the universe and imbued with wisdom, love, and clarity. To understand it, think of it as the still, quiet voice within that knows and sees beyond your ordinary perceptions.  This is what Google says anyway. And believe it or not, I agree this is a great description!

In today’s world, there is a lot of suffering and pain. It’s part of he human condition.  It passed down along the lineage and through our cultures and religion.  We get so distracted with the stories from the past, it’s hard to imagine a life of compassion, great wisdom and greatness.  But it’s time to start feeling joy.  Right?

In today’s world, many people think it’s up to us alone to deal with our problems.  Be accountable.  Figure it out.  You can do it. Right?  While this is all true, along the journey of life, sometimes we do need help from others, and also from that place inside of us that transcends time and space.  Inside of us is the whole universe, and when we align with the Higher Self, it will open us up and awaken all the possibilities.  If you are looking for clarity, the Higher Self is the best place to inquire.

There is a good book I recommend by Susan Thesanga called, “The Undefended Self“.  I read this years ago.  And what she says in that book is powerful knowledge even today.

Sometimes, we need to cut through all the patterns of the past and commit to the Higher Path.  Even though it’s hard to let go of the past at times,  beginning to look inward for these wisdom resources will change everything for you.  Begin with mindfulness and prayer.  Listen to the responses that life brings back.  Open up this communication to the Higher Self, and the “old” will dissolve and thee “new” can begin.  Embrace the change and find your Inner Warrior.   Be courageous.  Be strong.  But there is you in making this choice, and there are your allies too.  Remember:). Jump into your Best Timeline.

How Does Energy Healing Work?

How Does Energy Healing Work?

Energy Healing

Take a Step into Energy Healing

Learn and Experience Barbara Brennans Energy Healing Hands of Light…

Barbara Brennan’s Energy Healing is a holistic approach to healing that works on the premise that the human body has an energy field, often referred to as the “aura,” which interacts with the physical, emotional, mental, relationship and spiritual aspects of a person. Brennan, a former NASA physicist, developed a healing modality that integrates energy work with a deep understanding of the human energy system. Her approach is a combination of intuitive, hands-on healing techniques and a spiritual understanding of energy dynamics.

Here’s a breakdown of how Barbara Brennan’s 4 Dimensional Energy Healing works:

1. Energy Field and Chakras

  • The Aura: According to Barbara Brennan, the human energy field is composed of several layers or “auric fields” surrounding the physical body. These layers correspond to different aspects of a person’s being (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical).
  • Chakras: These are energy centers located along the spine, each associated with different aspects of health and well-being (for example, the heart chakra relates to emotional health, while the throat chakra is related to communication).  Working with energy healing helps metabolize and balance the chakeras.

2. Perception of Energy

  • Healers trained in Brennan’s method use clairvoyant or intuitive perception to detect disturbances in the energy field. This might include areas of blockage, depletion, or congestion in the aura or chakras that can manifest as physical or emotional issues.
  • They also use touch to sense the energy in the body and auric field, working to re-balance and re-align the energy flow.

3. Healing Process

  • Clear and Restore Energy Flow: Brennan Healing involves identifying areas of imbalance or stuck energy and then helping to clear or release these blockages. The practitioner may use various hand movements, gestures, or non-invasive techniques to help the client’s energy field re-balance itself.
  • Cleansing and Strengthening: In addition to clearing blockages, Brennan Healing also focuses on strengthening the aura and energy centers, ensuring that the person’s energy field is vibrant, resilient, and healthy. This can be done through visualization, hands-on healing, or the use of different frequencies of energy.
  • Healing Emotional and Mental Patterns: Barbara Brennan emphasized that energy blockages often relate to deep emotional or psychological patterns. Healing the energy system, therefore, can lead to emotional or mental transformation, helping clients release old emotional wounds or thought patterns that contribute to dis-ease.

4. Reconnection with the Higher Self

  • Part of Brennan’s approach involves helping the client reconnect to their higher self or spiritual essence. She believed that our energy field is deeply connected to our soul and that true healing involves both physical recovery and spiritual growth.
  • Clients may also be guided to align more fully with their own personal truths and life purpose, contributing to emotional and spiritual healing.

5. Transformation through Self-Awareness

  • Brennan’s method is not just about external healing but also encourages self-awareness and personal transformation. The healing process can lead to greater self-empowerment and self-love. It is a way to create harmony within oneself and the world around you.

Key Elements of Barbara Brennan’s Energy Healing:

  1. Aura and Chakras: The energy field is at the heart of the healing process, with emphasis on the layers and the energy centers that govern the body and mind.
  2. Hands-On Techniques: The healer uses their hands and intuition to clear, balance, and strengthen the energy field.
  3. Emotional Healing: Many of the issues addressed through Brennan’s energy work are rooted in unresolved emotions or mental patterns.
  4. Spiritual Connection: The work is deeply spiritual, aiming not just to heal the body but also to bring about spiritual alignment and growth.
  5. Self-Empowerment: The healing process encourages clients to actively engage in their own healing journey and align with their higher purpose.
  6. Hara-Alignment: Healing from the Tan Tien, to the Soul Seat, and through the ID point.
  7. Core Star Healing:  Connection to the Divine Spark which is You.

Barbara Brennan’s healing work is often practiced through Brennan Healing Science, a specific system that she developed and taught in her books, including Hands of Light and Light Emerging. Healing is a dynamic process that can involve both physical touch and energy manipulation, but it is also an intuitive and spiritual process designed to bring about holistic well-being.

It’s worth noting that healing outcomes depend on the individual’s openness to the process and the depth of their emotional, mental, and spiritual work.

Sharon Hartnett CST-D and Energy Healer graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in 2003.  Afterwards, she continued her studies into Advanced Work and then to Supervise Barbara Brennan students as a BIP.  Later, she ended up teaching at the school.

7 Things to Know about Highly Sensitive People

7 Things to Know about Highly Sensitive People

Recognizing the Gifts of Being with Highly Sensitive People

Understanding Sensitive People takes effort. Yet it’s definitely worth your while.  About 20% of people are sensitive.  Basically, what this means is that we (I am including myself) react more to life’s stimulation. At times, it’s not as easy for us sensitive people to screen out certain stimuli.  Things can become overwhelming for us if we aren’t mindful to our comfort zones.

Anyway, in the recent past, I was talking to my Craniosacral Therapist about my sensitivities in group relationships, and she recommended the book, “The Highly Sensitive Person“, by Elaine N. Aron.  As I began to take the test in the beginning of the book, I checked off almost every single characteristic of a Highly Sensensive Person (HSP).  Wow, this woman understood my life without even meeting me!

Honestly, I can’t tell you how alone I have felt (on a certain personality level) for a long time being highly sensitive.  Most of the world either masks it or is less sensitized.  I have processed things and been in the healing and therapist field for close to 30 years.  I have worked on boundaries and so many things.  Yet, still-when I walk into a room, I feel the mood of the people, and all the nuances in human relationship.  I hardly miss a thing, especially emotionally.  This even extends to plants, trees, and watching a bird fly.  It’s as if I feel ever flap of the wings. My heart resonates.  Yet I also feel very vulnerable.

At the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, we learned to develop what Barbara called “HSP” Higher Sense Perception.  Same acronym.  This is a fine tuning of seeing, feeling, tasting, sensing etc at a very subtle level.  This helps people who work with energy or relationships to become astute and skillful in meeting people in connection,  the auric field and other dimensions. This has benefited my clients in that I can deeply sense stress, pain, and dysfunction simply by tuning in.  When I do this, I can use my sensitivity skills to help ignite the healing response within.

For me, being aligned with my sensitive nature is tremendously helpful in my work.  I can sense things and support where others may not. On a fine level, I gather so much information through listening and melding.  I know how to meet the “Other” in a gentle manner with touch which can encourage wonderful openings.  At the same time, I often have to take some alone time afterwards to settle and digest life experiences.  Being senstive doesn’t necessarily make me an introvert, but I do need to rest and integrate often. Self care is crucial.

Aron, writes in her book that our mind/body experiences are different and unique.  Some of our positive traits that she mentions are:

1. We are better at spotting errors and avoiding making errors.

2. Highly conscientious.

3. Able to concentrate deeply on things where we are drawn.

4. Especially good at tasks requiring vigilance, accuracy, speed and detection of minor differences

5. Good at being able to process materials at deeper levels.

6. Deeply affected by other people’s moods, which help us to understand and be more present.

7.  Able to learn without being aware we have learned.

There is so much great material in this book.  What I like best about it is that I don’t feel so alone in that I feel different than so many others.  Also, It helped me to refocus on the gifts of this personality I have lived with.  I feel so aware of the interconnection of all of life.  I feel it deeply.  Sometimes, life hurts as the casing around the heart breaks wide open, but I am also able to have such profound life experiences.  I have become emotionally stronger in my vulnerablity and can hold that for others in “Presence”

I am sharing today about being sensitive, and I hope this helps someone else recognize that there are many other of us around. We need to learn to accept ourselve and find the seeds of truth and kindness inside to make this life of sensitivy so worthwhile. We do this through self nourishment and awakening to our authentic selves.

Discover a Grounded Energy Healer Right here in Columbus!

Discover a Grounded Energy Healer Right here in Columbus!

Energy Healer Sharon Hartnett Sharing….

I watched an energy healing on the Goop Lab recently. I was very glad to see someone professional actually talking about Energy Work in a positive way! People in Columbus, Ohio have been calling me as a result of this, and I am happy that they are open and excited about hands on energy healing now.

Yet I must admit-that most sessions don’t look quite like what happened with Julianne Hough.

First off, Julianne is obviously very health conscious and one of the best dancers in the world. It’s easy to see how attuned to her body she is.  Also, it is clear how her energy is aligned and connected to John Amaral.  He is the Healer who waved his hands over her with the result of spontaneous body movement.

This type of session is absolutely possible, but it really is a combination of different factors between the person doing the work and the client on the table which determines how the energy session shapes.

My training as an Energy Healer was 8 years at the renown Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  Also, I have been attuned to Reiki, and I know energy work naturally occurs with the Craniosacral Therapy (CST) I do.  Although, the CST is steeped more in  physical science with the physiological Craniosacral System and Central Nervous System.

During a session with me, my clients keep their clothes on. I listen to their energy field, and find out what is metabolizing well, and what is not.  I trust that the Light Inside will lead me to facilitate any auric field transformation that is ready to happen.  Most of this happens in the 4 dimensions: physical, auric field, hara and in the Core Star.

Some clients feel energy flow, connections happening on the more structured level of the energy field. Other may start to connect their hearts more deeply or perhaps even have spiritual experience. The experience really depends on what is unique to each person’s path.

Since the show, I have read doctors calling this work melarchy and such.  But I am not sure that they have ever really opened up and given energy work a chance.  When a person closes off to the more subtle aspects of existence, how can they find the truth?  When a certain group of people believe that their way is the only “right” way, how can they experience something new?

So many people are coming to Integrative Therapies.  Mostly because the Western Medical Model is lacking in many ways.  Yes- I have been helped tremendously at times from surgeons.  But so much more is missing.  Most of us have experienced this, and go searching for something more.

I don’t believe that we, as healers, heal.  Nor do I believe that physicians heal.  But any person can touch another in a certain way with energy intention, and help that person find his/her way back to Wholeness inside. When people do healing work, it is more than trying to “fix” the physical.  We are helping our clients to come back into their own Self-Empowerment to bring healthier choices back to them.  There is joy in life, and healing awakens this from within.

My job is to help you discover your own Inner Healing Resources to change your fate toward Optimal Health.  I hope that one day more physicians will open their minds to working more side by side in the energy healing field.  Afterall, what is most important is that people find what they are looking for.

With Energy Work, many of my clients often feel much more calm, clear and healthier.  They address their di-sease process physically, emotionally, in a heart centered way, and also spiritually on many occasions.

Connection is so integral to our growth and healing journey.  Energy Healing can be very supportive in this.  If you are interested in finding out more,  I offer a free one time 15 minute phone consultation.

Getting Clear about What You Want in Life

Getting Clear about What You Want in Life

You CAN get clear about what you want in life.

How?

What you need to do first is start by getting clear about your commitment to Clarity.  Set certain times aside for yourself to explore.  This can be done alone, or with a friend, healer or a therapist.  Self-discovery is a very interesting process. It begins by bringing your awareness to your thinking and how it affects you.  Cause and Effect.

Most of our thinking comes from our history and projections into the future.  What we believe about our stories can become very important to us.  And the filters that we now see the world through can be dimmed by repetitive belief systems.  By realizing how we identify with certain thinking patterns, we can change how we experience and create in the world.  Three keys to getting clearer about what matters to you:

  • Mindfulness is key for bringing awareness to thoughts that confuse and that block us from finding optimal value in our lives.  And it is in the quiet listening to our thoughts as they pass through, that we can navigate into the deeper silence.  Without the clutter, things are much closer to the heart and easier to navigate.  Into the “Now” place, life springs forth and life is more simple.
  • Being Curious makes space for new ideas and perspectives.  It’s like opening a door to see what’s next.
  • Experiencing means being with what is here right now in the moment.

Once the mind starts to quiet down.  Awareness can be experienced as more expansive.  We can step out of our normal living box. Perspective opens.  The bigger picture gives us an advantage to seeing things differently and with more clarity.  Experience and centeredness helps us to know what feels right for us.  It helps to define our relationship to the moment.

The mind and its consciousness is a larger field than just one person alone.

There are infinite possibilities.  But with healing relationships, we can investigate truth, and get more clear about who we are.  Our false identities dissolve and life feels more simple, and more restful.  Believe it-  when the mind opens, clarity is a relief.

Getting Clear by reaching outside of “normal” thinking patterns.Reach for the sky!

My job as a Barbara Brennan Healer is to work with your energy. To create a space where we work together to create an exchange that supports your movement into clarity.  A conversation that will set you free from illusion, and direct you into clarity.

Something deep inside of you knows the TRUTH.  And it will set you free to direct your life with more ease.

Getting clear,  that is my goal in helping you.  To help you connect to the authentic value you are here to live.

If you are looking for help,  I work locally and on Skype long distance.
