How to Keep Your Eye on the Dream

How to Keep Your Eye on the Dream

Dream On

Life is a Dream.  In life, we are always in relationship. Whether it is to another person, an animal friend, an object or the empty sky. Reality is the world as it is.  It’s whole, the sum parts of all existance.  To be in it we must be in the present moment.

The challenge is our brains are most often generating what we think is our experience before we even live it.  The truth, how we understand life to be in often a quest.  Until we settle down into mindful awareness and curiosity to the experience of the One.  It’s not really something the brain can wrap it’s mindset around. It’s a surrender.  It’s a giving up of the ego’s need to exist.

We are fortunate to awaken out of the dream.  But many of us actually enjoy the dream as well.  It’s part of the earth’s gift to human beings.  It’s an experience. Either way, becoming aware of illusion, the  noticing of the dream state is helpful if you want to navigate life with more ease.

In the dream state, there are many glimpses. Signs so to speak. When these signs come into your life. Listen. Pay attention. For example, recently I had a deep loss. The heart hurt deeply.  Inside, I felt broken apart.  I still do although I am feeling a bit better every day.

Anyway, just as I was walking toward the physical place of my avoidance of feeling this all, a beautiful butterfly appeared.  Black with turquoise wings on top.  The colors associated with the horse I lost recently.  My heart horse.  It just stood in front of me flapping it’s wings until I was ready to leave.  At that time, I felt my horse’s life all around me.  I woke up to his joy and his freedom. I felt it inside me as well. This happened with the same type of butterfly 4 times with me and those close by.

I know this can sound like a dream.  Part of it is the dream in which we all live. But the essence of love and interconnection inside opened and freed me as well with each sign that showed me the way.  I am still in the midst of grief.  But reality is showing me out the dream by keeping my focus on the signs.  Yet, the signs are from reality poking through the dream.  So pay attention.

I think, being human is very tough.  I suppose that is my belief I came into with this life.  At the same time, it is miraculous, so precious yet fragile.  It’s eternal spiritually but just a speck of temporary sand in the physical world.  This life in these skins in which we live are full of potential.  Life is what we make out of it, and also in how we treat others.

Enjoy this dream world.  It’s an adventure.  But if you want to wake up out of the suffering, it’s essention to set an intention, then pay attention, and open the door by being yourself.  Your real self.

Breathe: Easy Fix to Feel Better.

Breathe: Easy Fix to Feel Better.

Breathe Through It. An Easy Way to Begin Self-Care

Some people have to work three jobs to make things work. They hardly have the time to breathe or think about “Self-Care”.  Others are focused on Success and they keep pushing theselves past many personal boundaries until they are stressed and  exhausted.  Then there are those who just never learned that relaxation and rest is “Needed” and “Essential” to staying healthy.

We live in a society that is all about the “push”. Of course there is a place for this.  However, there is also the other side to this equation. There needs to be a place where and when it’s just fine to do nothing but breathe and take a break. A long and luxurious moment of “nothing”.  We also need to find a way to build healthy relationships with friends and family.  Life is meant to be enjoyed.

Our bodies can revve up too much though and our nervous system takes a hit.  Eventually excess stress can lead to sleeping trouble, lack of focus, skickness and headaches,  and chronic pain.  The list goes on.

If you are reading this, perhaps you are one of those people who feel like your nervous system has forgotten how to calm down.  Perhaps you feel like you have no options but to work work work. There’s too many things that must be done.

I’l like to suggest that taking moments, precious moments with mindful care can be a good beginning.  If you are running around on high drive, take a moment every hour to go inward and breathe through your nose.  Begin to connect with yourself over prioritizing everything that must be done. Mindfulness in the moment can nourish and remind you of  your true life work. It helps to awaken the resources and interconnection  inside and out. It may remind you that there is another reality possible where you can move through life more easily and with support.

Once you have established a positive habit of breathing with awareness and centering, start to extend that time longer and longer. Thereafter, begin to notice how things in your life begin to change. Taking care of yourself is an inside job, and all this takes is intention. When we take the time, as a priority, to get centered, things change. Believe it or not, each and every one of us holds wisdom and life purpose.  Begin by giving yourself the gift of time and self-realization. Empowerment begins by knowing yourself.  .

Breathe and Boost Your mood and Deepen into Relaxation.

Ssh! Freedom is found in the Silence

Ssh! Freedom is found in the Silence

Adyashanti on His Silence Quote

Silence. We can search for the meaning of life in our actions, as well as in our outside experiences. However, nothing true can really be found there. Only half truths.  Or shades.

I love this “Silence” quote from Adyashinti because it really strikes home with me.  When I drop my thoughts and my mind quiets down, it’s like the arrival of magic and mystery rolled in together.  There is no stress.  There is no distortion.  It’s emptiness and breath arising.

Often when we start on a spiritual path, the “seeker” in us shows up.  It looks all over for the answers. Glimpses of the Glory will appear and the intrigue takes us farther.  But after a long road, the path finally begins to dissolve, and there is no where else to go.

Have you ever felt totally free, and alive?

How does one describe effortlessness and ease in the nothing?

How does the crumbling of your story feel?

Life is so fun and interesting!

Embracing Wholeness and Wellness

Embracing Wholeness and Wellness

wholeness

Knots on the way to Wholeness

This morning, I woke up considering wholeness. Dreaming about my early childhood. I was bathing in that quiet serene place where I felt connected to my father’s side of the family. Memories of cousins, and second cousins. aunts, and uncles. The family coming together. One big family. An extended family. Close. I was a crumb, that made up a cake, and I felt safe in the bosom of my family. I felt happy. I felt even more deeply content at my Grandmother’s house when everyone was there. She came from a large family, and the web was thick.

Next, I dreamt about my mother’s family. Seeing my grandfathers cousins at his funeral, and my Grandmother Mary’s family from Pennsylvania. Back then people easily traveled in for a funeral to pay respects. Soothing to the soul to have a sacredly held transition. Even though my grandfather was adopted, people who knew him from decades past gathered.

I felt farther beyond in the thread where even in absence of knowing, the line continued back generations earlier. My Pa came from somewhere unfamiliar to me, but the person who bore him, and the one before her, they all make up a chain that never can be broken. No matter the circumstances, the love, the hate, the good and bad decisions, the lines are made, and the order never does break. What is born is not unborn.

I was lucky to have been brought up in the refuge of this large family as a very young girl. It is something that gave me a taste of happiness. Even if it was later going to fall apart.

Today, in my 60’s though, I have fine memories that help me remember that I come from two long lines that individualized into very different families, different cultures, and different religions. These ancestors of mine moved across different parts of the earth, each living a life worth living. Because of course, all of life is worth living. They all faced good times and hard times, but somehow made it through and lived enough to continue the line on. They all add up to nourish me through their time and experiences here, and now my children too.

In that state between waking up and getting out of bed, I also felt how if I traveled back even farther, that the two threads would eventually come together as One. Realizing again in my life that although we have different experiences, and different beliefs, that we all come from the same lacework. All of us our interconnected, and the Life Force that blesses us to be human beings is the same. It is powerful, and the more we stand together, we remember this.

Quite often these days, there is an emphasis to live in the NOW, which helps us be in wholeness. Perhaps because scientifically, that’s all there really IS. But as human beings, we do live in space and time. We do have this web, of which we all are a part. We have all struggled and suffered to some degree. If we are fortunate, we have also found miracles and love too. We feel. We sense. We get to experience this beautiful world. These moments are so valuable. It feels to me like it’s important to not rush towards enlightenment or heaven so quickly, but instead to savor what we are and have now. We will meet all the parts, and know ourselves as it all unfolds.

This Sunday morning, I write to remind every soul, that we are a knot of individuality in the web of life that crosses time and space. And we are also born from the One Source. If we want to find peace & joy, and if we are to stop creating violence and hate so strongly, we must remember that we all come from the same place. We are sand on the beach, a pebble in the creek. We are Creations of God, or Source, or the Universe’s Creative ability. Whatever we believe, we are One and the Same.

Maybe it’s important to remember this. Perhaps some might want to find a new quality meaning in life. Maybe this is a good reminder that without each other, we are nothing. Do you feel like you are living a life worth living. Do you do things which uplift others? Especially someone you don’t know or care for? Even the smallest changes count.

What if, when you wake up in the mornings, you connect to your Higher Self, sensing into your wholeness, and set your intention to make a positive change by facing your Lower Self with love? Start within to wake up to what is real. It will change you. And when you treat others well, especially those who seem different than you, when you give them an opportunity, you give this to yourself as well.

We are a tapestry that dances across all the universes. Every act touches the Whole. All the threads, and all the knots, we all have value, just by Being.

Discover a Grounded Energy Healer Right here in Columbus!

Discover a Grounded Energy Healer Right here in Columbus!

Serving the Columbus area: Energy Healer Sharon Hartnett Sharing….

I watched an energy healing on the Goop Lab recently. I was very glad to see someone professional actually talking about Energy Work in a positive way! People, where I live, in Columbus, Ohio have been calling me as a result of this, and I am happy that they are now more open and excited about hands on energy healing now.

Yet I must admit-that most sessions don’t look quite like what happened with Julianne Hough.

First off, Julianne is obviously very health conscious and one of the best dancers in the world. It’s easy to see how attuned to her body she is. Also, it is clear how her energy is aligned and connected to John Amaral. He is the Healer who waved his hands over her with the result of spontaneous body movement.

This type of session is absolutely possible, but it really is a combination of different factors between the person doing the work and the client on the table which determines how the energy session shapes.

My training as an Energy Healer was 8 years at the renown Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  Also, I have been attuned to Reiki, and I know energy work naturally occurs with the Craniosacral Therapy (CST) I do.  Although, the CST is steeped more in  physical science with the physiological Craniosacral System and Central Nervous System.

During a session with me, my clients keep their clothes on. I listen to their energy field, and find out what is metabolizing well, and what is not.  I trust that the Light Inside will lead me to facilitate any auric field transformation that is ready to happen.  Most of this happens in the 4 dimensions: physical, auric field, hara and in the Core Star.

Some clients feel energy flow, connections happening on the more structured level of the energy field. Other may start to connect their hearts more deeply or perhaps even have spiritual experience. The experience really depends on what is unique to each person’s path. However, most people end up feeling deeply relaxed, more balanced and feel more alive inside.

Since the show, I have read doctors calling this work melarchy and such.  But I am not sure that they understand energy healing.  I am curious if they have ever really opened up and given energy work a chance.  When a person closes off to the more subtle aspects of existence, how can they find the truth?  Moreover, when a certain group of people believe that their way is the only “right” way, how can they experience something new?

So many people are coming into Integrative and Complimentary Therapies.  Mostly because the Western Medical Model is lacking in so many ways.  Yes- I have been helped tremendously at times from some doctors and surgeons. But so much more is missing .   For example, does the doctor know my name? Do they have the time to understand what is going on with my body, and my life?  Are they willing to step out of  their formal education and be intimately involved in my healing plan?  Sometimes, we truly need someone to take the time and be fully present and understanding of what we are going through, and to help us find the best path to forge ahead.

I don’t believe that we, as healers, heal. Nor do I believe that physicians heal. But any person can touch another in a certain way with energy intention, and help that person find his/her way back to Wholeness inside. When people do healing work, it is more than trying to “fix” the physical.  We are helping our clients to come back into their own Self-Empowerment to bring healthier choices back to them.  There is joy in life, and healing awakens this from within. This is transformation.

My job is to help you discover your own Inner Healing Resources to change your fate regarding Optimal Health.  I hope that one day more physicians will open their minds to working more side by side in the energy healing field.  Afterall, what is most important is that people find what they are looking for.

With Energy Work, many of my clients often feel much more calm, clear and healthier.  They address their di-sease process physically, emotionally, in a heart centered way, and also spiritually on many occasions. They enjoy a more quality based life.

Connection is so integral to our growth and healing journey. Energy Healing can be very supportive in this.  If you are interested in finding out more,  I offer a free one time 15 minute phone consultation.
