How to Find Yourself in the Healing Process

How to Find Yourself in the Healing Process

Healing

The Healing Process is built on many moments of Life.

The Truth: Moments Unfolding with Change is Authentic Healing. Things do change instanteously and miraculously, but often in life relationships and time, one experience leads into another. The same thing occurs with the healing process.

For people hoping to Heal

Slow it Down With Grace

I get that you want things to happen quickly, and that’s totally normal.  You may also want to feel a deep shift in the first session. We live in a world where everything feels like it’s supposed to happen now. Or maybe you have been feeling uncomfortable or in pain for a long time. I get that can be difficult.  However, when it comes to life and healing, the truth is, the “process” is where all the real growth and change happens. Healing isn’t like flipping a switch, it’s like planting a seed. You can’t rush a seed to grow into a tree—it takes time, care, and patience.

In the process, you’re learning, adjusting, and becoming stronger. It’s not always easy, and it can feel frustrating, but the struggle is actually what builds resilience. Think of it like lifting weights—at first, you can’t handle much, but little by little, your strength increases. That’s how emotional growth works too. It’s in the moments that feel slow, or even stagnant, that you’re really building the foundation for long-term change.

So while you may want results now, the process is what makes those results sustainable. If you skip steps or try to rush it, you might end up back where you started, without having truly learned what you needed to. The key is to trust that the process, though uncomfortable at times, is actually your path to the very thing you’re craving—whether it’s peace, strength, clarity. It’s all happening in the journey, not just at the destination.

I share this with you because unrealistic expectations can actually stop the healing. In order to avoid disappointment, realize that the Healer is within You and it will happen as you are truly ready. A therapist or healer can help meet those places inside that desire change. They can nudge and hold a healing space for that change to happen. But most importantly your Higher Self must be tapped into for those places that feel stuck and may need to feel reassured in many different ways and on different levels.

The Journey of Healing is an ongoing process. Perhaps what you need will be resolved in one session. But it’s important for you to realize that the more complex the issues, more likely your healing team will need to re-evaluate on an ongoing basis.

One thing is certain though. Healing is an investment into yourself. You are worth it, and miracles can happen. Still be patient with yourself and the process. The flow will take you into the most unexpected and special places.

How Does Energy Healing Work?

How Does Energy Healing Work?

Energy Healing

Take a Step into Energy Healing

Learn and Experience Barbara Brennans Energy Healing Hands of Light…

Barbara Brennan’s Energy Healing is a holistic approach to healing that works on the premise that the human body has an energy field, often referred to as the “aura,” which interacts with the physical, emotional, mental, relationship and spiritual aspects of a person. Brennan, a former NASA physicist, developed a healing modality that integrates energy work with a deep understanding of the human energy system. Her approach is a combination of intuitive, hands-on healing techniques and a spiritual understanding of energy dynamics.

Here’s a breakdown of how Barbara Brennan’s 4 Dimensional Energy Healing works:

1. Energy Field and Chakras

  • The Aura: According to Barbara Brennan, the human energy field is composed of several layers or “auric fields” surrounding the physical body. These layers correspond to different aspects of a person’s being (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical).
  • Chakras: These are energy centers located along the spine, each associated with different aspects of health and well-being (for example, the heart chakra relates to emotional health, while the throat chakra is related to communication).  Working with energy healing helps metabolize and balance the chakeras.

2. Perception of Energy

  • Healers trained in Brennan’s method use clairvoyant or intuitive perception to detect disturbances in the energy field. This might include areas of blockage, depletion, or congestion in the aura or chakras that can manifest as physical or emotional issues.
  • They also use touch to sense the energy in the body and auric field, working to re-balance and re-align the energy flow.

3. Healing Process

  • Clear and Restore Energy Flow: Brennan Healing involves identifying areas of imbalance or stuck energy and then helping to clear or release these blockages. The practitioner may use various hand movements, gestures, or non-invasive techniques to help the client’s energy field re-balance itself.
  • Cleansing and Strengthening: In addition to clearing blockages, Brennan Healing also focuses on strengthening the aura and energy centers, ensuring that the person’s energy field is vibrant, resilient, and healthy. This can be done through visualization, hands-on healing, or the use of different frequencies of energy.
  • Healing Emotional and Mental Patterns: Barbara Brennan emphasized that energy blockages often relate to deep emotional or psychological patterns. Healing the energy system, therefore, can lead to emotional or mental transformation, helping clients release old emotional wounds or thought patterns that contribute to dis-ease.

4. Reconnection with the Higher Self

  • Part of Brennan’s approach involves helping the client reconnect to their higher self or spiritual essence. She believed that our energy field is deeply connected to our soul and that true healing involves both physical recovery and spiritual growth.
  • Clients may also be guided to align more fully with their own personal truths and life purpose, contributing to emotional and spiritual healing.

5. Transformation through Self-Awareness

  • Brennan’s method is not just about external healing but also encourages self-awareness and personal transformation. The healing process can lead to greater self-empowerment and self-love. It is a way to create harmony within oneself and the world around you.

Key Elements of Barbara Brennan’s Energy Healing:

  1. Aura and Chakras: The energy field is at the heart of the healing process, with emphasis on the layers and the energy centers that govern the body and mind.
  2. Hands-On Techniques: The healer uses their hands and intuition to clear, balance, and strengthen the energy field.
  3. Emotional Healing: Many of the issues addressed through Brennan’s energy work are rooted in unresolved emotions or mental patterns.
  4. Spiritual Connection: The work is deeply spiritual, aiming not just to heal the body but also to bring about spiritual alignment and growth.
  5. Self-Empowerment: The healing process encourages clients to actively engage in their own healing journey and align with their higher purpose.
  6. Hara-Alignment: Healing from the Tan Tien, to the Soul Seat, and through the ID point.
  7. Core Star Healing:  Connection to the Divine Spark which is You.

Barbara Brennan’s healing work is often practiced through Brennan Healing Science, a specific system that she developed and taught in her books, including Hands of Light and Light Emerging. Healing is a dynamic process that can involve both physical touch and energy manipulation, but it is also an intuitive and spiritual process designed to bring about holistic well-being.

It’s worth noting that healing outcomes depend on the individual’s openness to the process and the depth of their emotional, mental, and spiritual work.

Sharon Hartnett CST-D and Energy Healer graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in 2003.  Afterwards, she continued her studies into Advanced Work and then to Supervise Barbara Brennan students as a BIP.  Later, she ended up teaching at the school.

Nourish with Kindness And Big Rewards Will Come

Nourish with Kindness And Big Rewards Will Come

Kindness

Kindness

It’s amazing what an act of kindness can do. It can spread like a skipping stone out into the wild. It can whisper loud enough to wake up a soul from the darkness.  Kindness is an act of love that warms the heart.

Being imperfect in so many ways, we humans lack the gift of kindness at times. As we grow up, we miss certain pieces that can dim our light. The generational wound touches so many places for each of us.  Until we heal.

With growth, hopefully we can attract people and new situations which can fill the gap, and remind us that we are indeed whole, and not the “lacking”.   At times, we may need additional help.

Kindness can be reflected through positive relationships.  One of those can be with a Craniosacral Therapist trained to hold space for you Inner Wisdom to blossom.  All the errors and faults that are believed can dissolve when one begins to discover the Essential Self.  Gentle touch and listening with kindness creates melding, but also a neutral witness to reawaken your inner light.

We all deserve to treat each other and to receive from each other love and kindness.  When you find this, you will glow.

Light and Love

A Brand New Way of Thinking about Your Health

A Brand New Way of Thinking about Your Health

Proactive Health

Life Style is a Choice.  But it’s not always an easy choice. Most people are working so many hours that they feel stressed.  They don’t spend enough time outside, having fun, or exercising because they are tired.  In relationship to food,  much of our maketing is aimed at pushing us to make unhealthy choices.  For example, we hear eat vegetables and lean meat, but the grocery stores are filled with sodas and processed food with who knows what is inside.  We hear it’s important to make friends for healthy relationships.  What if you are an introverted person?  Or facing mental and emotional challenges and there are no resources available?  Our choices may seem to have limited answers.

As a Craniosacral Therapist and Healer for about 30 years, I have worked with many people.  I listen.  Often people blame themselves for ending up not feeling well.  I have noticed this with women in particular. But honestly the society we live in  contributes to making the choosing confusing.  So many mixed up messages.

I believe it’s important to first acknowledge where you are right now in your health journey.  Accept yourself as you are with some compassion by going to your heart. Next, take some time to consider the changes you want to make.  Being with your own Truth is a Powerful Beginning. Self Awareness helps us to make proactive choices in our own best interests.

The next and most important key in my opinion is to get to know yourself.  We are complex human beings. We have conscious thoughts and we also have patterns steeped in shadow.  It’s important to take the time to get a sense of your own sense of power and core abilitites.  That’s where you can start to make internal changes which are long-lasting.

Set your intention for proactive and positive health.  Once this is clear. take action:

1.  Set up health goals

2.  Meditate to awaken self awareness

3.  Choose someone to help you find deeper clarity and a health sense of Self.

4.  Become friendly with your own body.

5.  Find healthy activities which you enjoy, and do them!  Start small but stop make excuses.

6.  Prioritize your health because nobody else can do it better than you!

7.  Reach in to find your deeper resources, and then reach out to connect with others in your own comfort zone.

It’s best to be proactive about your health.  Also, it’s never too late. Ultimately only you can make the choices to return you back to your center and healthy embodiment.

Breathe and be the best you can be.  That is enough!

Find Somato Therapist Near Me

Somato Centered Therapy on the Table

The Concept of Somato centered bodywork, was incorporated into the therapeutic process of Craniosacral Therapy many years ago at the Upledger Institute.

SomatoEmotional Release (SER) is a theraeputic process that employs and expands the principles of  Craniosacral Therapy through dialogue.

This particular type of somato communication can be done in silence, or when a person begins to process, verbal cues or responses may be offered for self-discovery work.  Mostly this is practiced when the Craniosacral Rythm is moving the client through a profound change.  However, it is not the job of a Craniosacral Therapist to counsel.  Instead, we are trained to support a person who in on the table, and who is being challenged or needs help moving through cellular memory developmental or trauma experiences.  We have been trained to be very gentle and to offer some techniques that take the client inward to help them find their own deep well of Inner Resources.

Each Craniosacral Therapist has their own unique skillset to help in dialogue work.  Personally, I have studied Hakomi for two years, 8 years at the Barbara Brennan School Of healing, and also studied at SPI to help my clients who have gone through trauma.

This body centered work is powerful and gentle with an organic and mindful approach to healing.  It feels very integrative to our clients, as well as self-empowering.

If you want to “find a craniosacral therapist near me”,  I offer free 10 minute phone calls to support your discovery process in finding the best CST for you!
